Dr. Jade Kehoe, Dr. Brett Langill, Dr. Emily Ikert, and Dr. Bahar Friesen welcome you to Cumberland Dental!
At Cumberland Dental, we provide dental care for the entire family. Our goal is to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible, with a caring team dedicated to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy smile. We offer a wide range of services, including dental cleanings and check-ups, fillings, crowns and bridges, children’s dentistry, Invisalign, implants, neuromodulator (Dysport) treatment, and more!

Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are especially committed to helping patients with dental anxiety feel safe, heard, and at ease throughout their visit. By combining personalized care and a gentle approach, we strive to improve oral health and build meaningful relationships grounded in trust, integrity, and genuine care.
ABOUT US
Cumberland Dental was first established in 1994 and was located in the Cumberland Square. The practice began as a three-chair clinic, with Dr. Heather Torrie serving as the sole practitioner. In 2015, Cumberland Square underwent major redevelopment, resulting in the demolition of the entire mall. The new clinic was built in 2016, featuring six operatories in a modern, open-concept layout.
In 2018, Dr. Jade Kehoe purchased Cumberland Dental and has continued to grow the practice. Dr. Brett Langill joined the team in 2023, followed by Dr. Emily Ikert in 2025 and Dr. Bahar Friesen in 2026. The addition of these providers has allowed the practice to accommodate more patients and offer extended hours to better serve the community.
MEET OUR DENTISTS
DR. JADE KEHOE DMD
Dentist/Owner
Dr. Kehoe was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan for both her undergraduate studies and her dental education, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the College of Dentistry in 2016. Following graduation, she began her dental career at Stonebridge Dental Centre. In 2018, she took a significant step forward in her career by purchasing Cumberland Dental from Dr. Heather Torrie. Dr. Kehoe also works as part time faculty at the U of S College of Dentistry.
Outside of the dental office, Jade leads an active lifestyle. She has a lifelong love for sports and is both a volleyball player and a coach in the community. She also enjoys exploring new places through her love of travel.
Dr. Kehoe enjoys all aspects of dentistry and, as an experienced Invisalign provider, loves helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. She is passionate about creating a positive, non-judgmental dental experience where patients can feel comfortable and at ease when visiting the dentist.
DR. BRETT LANGILL DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Langill was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2011, graduating with awards in Oral Medicine and Oral Biology. After completing her dental education, she began practicing in Saskatoon, where she worked at a family-focused clinic for 11 years before joining Cumberland Dental.
Outside of the clinic, Brett enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their two young children, and their dog, Porter. She also enjoys working out, trips to the dog park, and travelling.
Dr. Langill enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in pediatric dentistry. She is passionate about creating a calm, comfortable experience for her patients and offers nitrous sedation to help ease anxiety. She is also neuromodulator certified and enjoys incorporating this aspect of dentistry into her practice. She is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to the Saskatoon community.
DR. EMILY IKERT DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Ikert was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She pursued a degree in Physiology and Pharmacology before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in 2024.
When Emily is not in the office you can find her at the gym, partaking in a yoga class, reading a good book or enjoying time outside. She also enjoys travelling, and in 2025 she joined a dental brigade as a volunteer dentist in Honduras – this was one of her greatest experiences to date.
Dr. Ikert focuses on patient-centered care, and strives to create a warm and friendly environment in the dental office. Educating patients on their oral health and working together with them as a team is of the utmost importance to her. She has a passion for all aspects of dentistry and is excited to continue doing what she loves every day by providing care to the patients at Cumberland Dental.
DR. BAHAR FRIESEN DMD
Associate Dentist
Dr. Friesen completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2026.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Friesen lives just outside of Saskatoon with her husband and their dog Mona. She enjoys running, playing soccer, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Friesen enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. She offers nitrous sedation to help ease dental anxiety and create a more relaxed experience for patients in the chair. She especially values building long-term relationships with patients of all ages and strives to create a welcoming, informative, and supportive environment where patients feel at ease throughout their treatment.

ALYSSA BOYER
Registered Dental Hygienist
Alyssa was born and raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. After completing a degree in Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan, she pursued her passion for healthcare by earning a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2016. In addition to her work at our office, Alyssa also works part-time as the Deputy Registrar for the Saskatchewan Dental Hygienists Association, contributing to the advancement of the profession. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys getting lost in a good book, practicing yoga, and planning home renovations with her husband. She also loves taking spontaneous ski trips to the mountains when she gets the chance. Alyssa is passionate about her career in Dental Hygiene, and her delightful personality, gentle cleanings, and thorough care make her an integral and valued part of our team.
PAULA KARVONEN
Registered Dental Hygienist
Paula graduated in 1997 from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Regina with a diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has been a registered dental hygienist for over 25 years working almost her entire career at one clinic in Saskatoon. On her downtime, Paula enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, travelling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her cats, her husband, Andrew, and two teenage children, Ethan and Ava. She has always had a strong passion towards dental hygiene and treats people with kindness, compassion, and respect. She is very detail-oriented, thorough, and knowledgeable with anything pertaining to dental hygiene. She has a great sense of humor and her laugh can be heard throughout the office.
CHELSEA KOROLL
Registered Dental Hygienist
Chelsea was born and raised in Saskatoon, where she started her career in the dental field by earning a Dental Assisting diploma from the University of Saskatchewan. She then worked as a dental assistant for two years before continuing her education at the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa, earning her Dental Hygiene diploma. With a strong foundation in both assisting and hygiene, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health while building lasting relationships with those she cares for. Outside of work, you can find Chelsea staying active and spending time outdoors at the lake; camping and boating in the summer or ice fishing in the winter. She also loves playing sports, going for walks with her dog, and reading a good book.
ASHLEY NOGIER
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley was born in Calgary and lived in Okotoks, Canmore, and Jasper before moving to Rosthern at the age of 10. She began her career in dentistry by completing Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Dental Assisting program. While working as a dental assistant, she discovered her passion for dentistry, inspiring her to continue her education and earn her Dental Hygiene diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. With experience in both dental assisting and dental hygiene, Ashley is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health through education and preventative care. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and creating a comfortable, positive dental experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and exploring new places. She also loves baking and spending time with her family, friends, her boyfriend Jayden, and their pets, Binx and Koda.

At Cumberland Dental we offer a range of dental services for patients of all ages!
Dental Cleanings
Cleanings are performed by our Registered Dental Hygienists. This appointment involves removing tartar, plaque and stains, teeth polishing and a fluoride application. We recommend cleanings every 3, 4, 6, or 12 months to maintain a healthy mouth and prevent gum disease.
Dental Check Ups
Check ups include a comprehensive look at your teeth, gums and oral cavity. Dental radiographs can help the dentist evaluate the health of your teeth, to ensure you maintain a healthy smile.
Fillings
A filling is a way to restore a tooth that has been damaged by decay or a fracture, back to its normal function and shape. The dentist removes the decay, cleans the area and fills the cavity with a filling material.
Crown and Bridge
We provide crowns, bridges and veneers. These treatments are not only for esthetics, but also have many functional benefits. Crowns, or caps, can be placed on a structurally damaged tooth, to improve the strength and increase the lifespan of the tooth. Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth, as an alternative to implants or dentures. Veneers can help improve the aesthetics of you teeth.
Nitrous Sedation
Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is administered by the dentist to provide mild or moderate sedation and is used to enhance patient comfort and relieve anxiety for patients of all ages. When inhaled through the nose and mouth, you will begin to relax, remaining awake and able to communicate while the dentist performs your dental work.
Extractions
Extractions are a dental procedure that involves removing a tooth. There are many reasons a tooth needs to be extracted, this can be due to decay, an extensive break, or for orthodontic reasons. We want to make this experience as pain free as possible for you.
Implant Dentistry
Implants can replace one or more missing teeth. Implants replace the root and the crown of the missing tooth, and can be used as an alternative to bridges or dentures.
Root Canals
Root canals are needed when decay in a tooth becomes too deep, and causes the tooth to become inflamed, infected, or dead. Root canal treatment involves removing the infected nerve tissue from the tooth, and filling this space with a dental material.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a process where clear plastic removable aligners move your teeth in small increments, resulting in a straighter smile. These custom-made aligners are virtually invisible, making them a discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. With the convenience of being removable, you can easily maintain your oral hygiene and enjoy your favorite foods throughout your treatment.
Pediatric Dentistry
We offer a comfortable environment for your child’s dental visit. Our staff is experienced with working with children of all ages.
Teeth Whitening
We offer take home whitening, where we fabricate custom fitted whitening trays, and you can whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home.
Neuromodulators
Neuromodulator treatment, commonly known by the brand names of Botox and Dysport, is utilized in dental clinics for both therapeutic and cosmetic treatments. It effectively alleviates symptoms of jaw tension and teeth grinding, while also enhancing facial aesthetics by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
